Role Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and lead a global team of 20 Study Start Up Associates, collaborating with and guiding others.
  • Lead and oversee the creation, review, and approval of Informed Consent Forms and related documentation.
  • Establish and negotiate processes with Sponsors and Portfolio Directors.
  • Conduct training sessions for team members and global study teams to ensure process quality and alignment.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process enhancements, develop, and monitor the implementation of process changes.
  • Provide financial supervision to ensure profitability and manage staff workload for optimized resource utilization.
Your background and experience:
You are likely to have a combination of the following qualifications:
  • Hold a degree in Life Sciences and possess extensive experience in the clinical research industry.
  • Have a career background that includes involvement in clinical trials, providing you with a deep understanding of the Informed Consent procedure from a regulatory standpoint.
  • Demonstrate significant experience in preparing, reviewing, and approving Study Master and site level Informed Consent documents in compliance with various regulations and standards.
  • In a highly regulated setting with tight deadlines for study site setup, exhibit effective prioritization skills and the ability to multitask with great attention to detail.
  • Given the leadership role over a global team, showcase strong mentoring, team management, and team leadership skills. Additionally, possess excellent interpersonal skills to lead negotiation discussions with internal and external parties.
