Analyst – Pricing Operations Projects

We are looking for an Analyst in Pricing Operations Projects, to support our Actuarial Pricing & Analytics function (with offices in the UK, US, Poland and India).

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of pricing projects that impact all of the Pricing & Analytics team.

What will your essential responsibilities include?

· Provide assistance, coordination and input for central pricing projects

· Assist (and from time to time lead) change, technical and business projects as required across the Pricing & Analytics function

· Provide project management support including plans, timelines, deliverables and accountabilities, progress reporting for pricing team specific projects

· Encourage project management across the function through training, communication, templates and best practice

· Work across all pricing teams and with other functions (e.g. Underwriting, IT, Data Privacy Office, HR) as required.

You will report to Specialist Actuary.

We're looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

Required Skills and Abilities:

· Able to take a big picture view of a project. Resourceful, creative and can focus on identifying the most effective way to resolve problems

· A detail-oriented approach with a focus on accuracy

· Inquisitive with compelling analytical skills, complex problem solving

· University degree, preferably in project management or a numerate subject (like Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Computer Science) or similar

· Fluency in English, both spoken and written

· Good knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint

· Good organizational, time management and prioritisation skills

· Collaborative and good at building relationships with business partners and customer oriented

· Ability to work with global, multi-disciplinary teams, including analytics professionals

· Effective communications skills (written and oral)

· Open to new challenges and proactive

Desired Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of project management techniques and tools/software including the use of MS Teams

· Knowledge of VBA, Power BI, R, Python

· Knowledge of Insurance products

· Some actuarial experience or knowledge gained through either degree or work experience

· Experience of assisting and/or managing projects
