Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate, present, and test gameplay concepts for core combat and moment-to-moment mechanics in various scenarios
  • Develop combat characters, their behavior, abilities, and interactions in different environments
  • Create design documents, content briefs, and system outlines to facilitate team collaboration
  • Take charge of the entire production process from concept to delivery
  • Organize playtesting sessions to gather feedback and enhance prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements
  • Share knowledge and support junior team members
  • Assist in recruitment initiatives when required

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in game development for consoles and PC
  • 4+ years of experience working on AAA combat or systems design projects
  • Previous involvement in shipping at least one senior role title
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine Editor
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate design vision effectively
  • Expertise in creating and implementing game features
  • Understanding of game development processes and online action games
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Passion for gaming and game development

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages and mathematics
  • Deep understanding of systems design and player behavior
  • Experience with Unity and Atlassian software
