Position Overview
As a Payroll & Benefits Operations Specialist specializing in Italian, your role involves offering professional payroll and benefits services to the EMEA region's Line of Business (LoB). You will handle end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely remuneration delivery to Novo Nordisk employees.
Remote work possibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end payroll processes for assigned countries.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll providers.Address payroll inquiries from HR and employees.Administer local benefits if required.Enhance payroll operational processes aligned with PBO Team objectives.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, cultural awareness, strong communication, and change management skills are crucial. Customer focus, business understanding, operational excellence, and meeting KPIs are essential. Reliability, accuracy, and data sensitivity awareness affecting employees' lives are vital.
Minimum 2 years' payroll experience in a large organization.Preferably worked in a shared service center.Italian Payroll experience preferred; familiarity with EMEA payroll practices is valuable.Experience with third-party payroll providers.Proficiency in HRIS like SAP, Employee Central, and MS Office applications.Strong attention to detail, meeting deadlines.Proficiency in Italian and English; additional language proficiency.Integrity, team player, willingness to travel, effective task planning.Strong analytical skills for process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement.

The EMEA Regional Service Centre (RSC EMEA) is part of Novo Nordisk, dedicated to enhancing patients' quality of life and market innovation. PBO department oversees payroll and benefits support for countries like France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and UK.
