The position

As a Payroll & Benefit Operations Specialist with proficiency in French, German, or Italian, you will provide support for payroll and benefits services to Line of Business (LoB) in the EMEA region.

In this role, you will work closely with assigned EMEA countries to coordinate end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely remuneration delivery to Novo Nordisk employees.

Your main responsibilities as a Payroll & Benefits Specialist will include:

  • Coordinate end-to-end payroll processes for assigned countries
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll providers
  • Address payroll queries escalated from HR and/or employees
  • Administer local benefits if applicable
  • Optimize payroll operational processes in alignment with PBO Team goals

As an HR Specialist with French, German, or Italian, you will contribute significantly to the development of the HR Regional Service Centre and report to the AskHR Lead.

You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders in EMEA countries, facilitating the transfer of HR processes and tasks to the team in Warsaw.

Your main responsibilities as an HR Specialist will involve:

  • Offering professional operational support via phone, chat, and email on various HR administrative processes, systems, and services across EMEA
  • Transferring HR processes and tasks from EMEA countries to the AskHR Unit in Warsaw while maintaining a strong customer focus and service improvement
  • Assisting in building a knowledge base for the team covering EMEA HR processes and local legislation
  • Engaging in close collaboration with HR colleagues across different EMEA countries and Global Business Service People Operation in India to resolve inquiries within service level agreements
  • Acting as a 'super user' or 'subject matter expert' within specific fields of expertise or countries
Qualifications:

In order to excel in this role, you must possess knowledge and awareness of cultural nuances, strong communication and change management skills, and excellent stakeholder management abilities in an international setting.

A customer-centric mindset, solid business acumen, operational excellence, and meeting KPIs are also essential.

  • We expect you to have:
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, HR, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a shared service center
  • Familiarity with various EMEA countries, including regulations, practices, and cultures
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French, German, or Italian
  • Strong analytical skills for process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement

About the department:

The EMEA Regional Service Centre (RSC EMEA) operates alongside the Business Area office for Europe East and the Polish affiliate.

With a yearly budgeted sales level exceeding million DKK and employees in the Polish affiliate, the company's goal is to enhance the quality of patients' lives and introduce innovation to the market.

The RSC EMEA consists of three departments: AskHR (HR administration and employee support), Transition (project and systems management), and Payroll and Benefits Operations (PBO) department, providing support to countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, and the UK.
