A2R Analyst - Revenues will be responsible for preparing and documenting all revenue related adjustment transactions, providing supporting documentation for these procedures and performing account reconciliations. In addition, this role will liaise with business units to ensure timely recording and reporting of revenue transactions. The position requires an understanding of complex accounting issues, quick problem solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance teams.

YOU WILL

  • Collect, prepare and review appropriate supporting documentation for all business unit revenue recognition activities.
  • Prepare manual journals for various transactions affecting revenue, including adjustments, reversals, rebates, sales returns, and complex transactions involving capital and operating leases, with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Provide audit support specific to the revenue accounting function.
  • Support regional and global revenue reporting requirements for all areas under regional management responsibility (e.g. monthly balance sheet and P&L flow reviews).
  • Support the monthly/quarterly/annual close processes. Work closely with the Regional Controllership teams.
  • Ensure that processes comply with company policies and procedures, internal and external audit requirements, and local rules and regulations. Support the strengthening of financial processes and controls.
  • Focus on continuous process improvement and support local, regional and global projects.

YOU NEED

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working as a finance professional.
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent communication skills, demonstrating diplomacy, flexibility and a proactive mindset.
  • Exceptional client communication skills with strong verbal and written English skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting tools including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
  • Experience with JDE and Blackline is a plus.
