As part of the structures, we are looking for specialists in the field of international accounting & tax, human resources and payroll, and global entity management. We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

JOB PURPOSE

TMF provides a range of services for multinational companies to assist them in: a) running a local business, b) preparing to enter a new market or c) operating across many borders. These services include Global Entity Management, Accounting & Tax, and HR & Payroll. In addition to this, TMF Group is a recognized global player in the administration of Capital Markets transactions and PERE investments, providing a complete range of fund and business services.

TMF is undergoing a transformation of how we deliver services to our clients. As part of this transformation, we are establishing Regional Delivery Centers, where we are delivering various end to end services. As part of global initiative, we are opening Payment HUB in RDC Katowice, and we are recruiting a team of payment specialists to centralize payment processing for our EMEA clients.

The primary purpose of the role is to establish and drive efficiencies in the execution of payments within the Accounting & Tax practice. This role will manage team of payment specialists that will be responsible for payment execution on behalf of TMF Clients in EMEA relevant countries.

Team leader will play very important role in shaping and building Payment HUB and will be responsible for its day-to-day operations. TL will also support existing Polish team and will be engaged in onboarding some global clients to payment HUB. Furthermore, TL will be involved in all payment process migrations from local offices to RDC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Payment specialists responsible for preparation and execution of payments on behalf of TMF clients
  • Manage day to day activities and workload
  • Act as main point of contact for various stakeholders regarding various questions and queries related to Payment HUB
  • Assist team with achieving high quality standard of end-to-end service delivery
  • Act as SME and review work of the team
  • Support the team with preparation of payments as needed
  • Work closely with external and internal stakeholders to provide advice and guidance as required
  • Assist with resolution of issues to ensure timely payment execution in accordance and compliance with TMF policy
  • Coordinate development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for payment preparation and execution
  • Contribute to and lead automation, standardization and improvements and drive these activities within the Team and with the Local Offices
  • Comply with accounting standards, policies and procedures
  • Support, follow-up and escalate identified issues
  • Understand, monitor, and take proper action regarding KPIs
  • Responsible for process documentation (including creation and updates as required)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Motivating and leading people
  • Communicate effectively with strong writing, communication & interpersonal skills and fluent in English
  • Work collaboratively with other and comfortable working with diverse culture and geographies
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced dynamic environment and working under pressure
  • Able to effectively plan and prioritize work and can handle multiple packages of work simultaneously
  • Demonstrate accountability through communicating open items, issues, and deadlines clearly and effectively

Key Knowledge and Experience

  • University degree preferably in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, Polish CPA, or equivalent), even if partly qualified, will be a big advantage
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Extensive knowledge around Payments and Procure to Pay process
  • Treasury experience will be an advantage
  • Working with banks will be a plus
  • Prior experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity preferably in an BPO/Centralized delivery environment
