Your Impact:

The Central Europe BU Strategic Insights Lead will be playing a pivotal role to enable to shape a 3-year vision, help define targets and strategic plan (PSP) for Central Europe BU. The role will work across the BU with primary focus on 4 key cells Poland, Romania x Beverages, Snacks. You will set strategic insights agenda in support of BU objectives, deliver world class human insights to fuel strategic initiatives and plans, guide on "where to play" choices and "how to win" solutions in close partnership with Strategy and Sector Insights Leads.

Also, you will own, develop and action Insight capability roadmap, elevate strategic growth, foresight, and future demand capabilities, pilot and roll out innovative tools & methodologies in collaboration with Sector & Global Insights teams.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead thinking and support PSP Cell x cell (recurrent workstreams)
    • Lead SOM modeling process, project market growth, define "how high is up" SOM targets in Snacks and Beverage categories for PSP horizon.
    • Develop and own understanding of KBDs for the category, topline and SOM.
    • Partner with Global Strategy and Sector team on PGM build up & validation.
  2. Category & Portfolio Strategic Insights
    • Partner with sector, Leading Where to Play and How to Win Strategic Insights for Beverages and Snacks, across all CE markets.
    • Identify white space consumer-based growth opportunities.
    • Partner with Sector on systematic competitor analysis and cross-functional efforts on competitor war gaming.
  3. Human Centric Cell Strategy and ICP support
    • Humanize data to elevate human centricity across all strategic workstreams and plans.
    • Provide support on translating where to play choices into human centric jobs to be done to support Powering Positive Growth Transformation.
  4. Own BU capability roadmap & capability contracts
    • Pilot and roll out innovative tools & methodologies in collaboration with Sector & Global Insights teams
    • Pep positive & sustainability insights
  5. Navigate on external context and growth Opps for Strategy reviews / QSR
    • Lead 6C's situation assessment that integrates and interpret key external knowledge/ trends from multiple sources to identify key growth opportunities and threats for our categories and brands.
    • Support PSP algo build up for QSR discussions.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

As this role will regularly interact with senior stakeholders in an influential and credible capacity, significant organizational savvy and a demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, will be required to accomplish objectives. A successful candidate will have several years of experience in a consulting capacity, or consultative role, leveraging advanced problem solving and analytical skills to influence at a high level.

  • Strategic insight technical mastery expertise – significant experience across the full breadth of market insight techniques.
  • 10-15 years' experience across both top tier strategy consulting AND CPG insights
  • Experience of leading a strategic insights agenda and partnering with senior leaders cross functionally,to drive insights to action.
  • Experience in leading strategy consulting initiatives/ engagements
  • Deep experience of leading strategic insights agenda and partnering with senior leaders to drive insights to action.
  • Evidence of inspiring others to take on new ideas and adopt change.
  • Powerful influencer, able to build coalitions and gain support without 'hard' power.
  • Self-starter, able to operate independently without precedent and create completely new approaches.
  • Ability to synthesize and persuasively communicate highly complex findings to focus on the critical issues and actionable growth opportunities.

  • Logic/ analytical thinker- can dissect a question/problem to get to a clear brief and turn analysis into a tight, compelling story.
  • Ability to see connections across different data & insight sources from category consumption, brands drivers, macro & micro trends, and future forces of consumer change.
  • Actively creates, promotes, and fosters a culture of cross-function/ market integration and collaboration to get things done.
  • Operates efficiently and effectively in a matrixed environment and demonstrates effective collaboration across multiple layers, to build coalitions and gain support without 'hard' power.
