The significance of this role – what makes it a fantastic opportunity?

The primary goal of this position is to ensure the smooth execution of all accounting, controlling, compliance, financial, and tax reporting processes. As a Business Area Financial Controller, A2R, you play a vital role in upholding high-quality standards and fostering collaboration among teams, processes, systems, and functions. You will oversee the daily operations of the assigned team, make crucial operational decisions, and seek guidance from the Finance Team Manager for strategic directions.

Your prospective team

As a part of the Accounting and Reporting department (A2R), consisting of approximately 60 finance professionals, you will be an integral member. We take pride in managing accounting and group, statutory, and tax reporting processes for over 50 entities worldwide, delivering top-notch services.

Your qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience
  • Proficiency in International Accounting Standards and Taxation
  • Holder of a university degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field
  • Experience in preparing financial statements under IFRS and local standards
  • Knowledge in tax accounting and reporting
  • Familiarity with tools such as SAP, BW/BI (e.g. AfO), and MS Office
  • Fluency in English
