As the Fuel Application Manager, you will have the opportunity to coordinate fuel processes, implement innovative features, and ensure the integrity of critical data.

(Senior) Fuel Application Managerwill be an integral part of the Fuel IT, Emission and Controlling team (Hamburg). He/shewill be the expert for the Fuel Plus application and IT processes, will care for smooth operation of the application to ensure its continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring the relevant information flows/ data quality/ business rules
  • Optimizing the e-invoicing processes and increase the electronic invoice ratio by onboarding further fuel suppliers
  • Driving projects around fuel
  • Supervising and participating in audits
  • Comparing legal requirements from emission reporting or requirements from auditors with implementation in the application
  • Driving the development and implementation of new functions in Fuel IT applications
  • Performing advanced analytics on fuel data
  • Creating protocols and procedures for the use of the application
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any problems with the application's software
  • Creating databases for the application
  • Providing trainings for the users

  • Master/Bachelor's degree in Economics, Information Technology or similar
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Experience in managing IT-applications, interfaces, and infrastructure
  • Experience in eProcurement (e-Tendering, e-Invoicing)
  • Experience in providing instructions and trainings to employees
  • Practical knowledge of SAP CO, FI
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) – min C1
  • Very good German (written and spoken) – min B2
  • Very good command of MS office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Access), SQL
  • Great analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills(self-confidence and negotiation skills)
  • Highly independent and systematic approach to work
