(Senior) Fuel Application Manager will play a key role in the Fuel IT, Emission and Controlling team based in Hamburg. The individual will serve as the expert for the Fuel Plus application and IT processes, ensuring seamless operation and driving continuous enhancements.

  • Ensure smooth information flows, maintain data quality, and adhere to business rules
  • Optimize e-invoicing processes and boost electronic invoice usage by onboarding additional fuel suppliers
  • Lead projects related to fuel management
  • Supervise and take part in audits
  • Align legal requirements for emission reporting and auditor mandates with the application
  • Guide the development and integration of new features in Fuel IT applications
  • Conduct advanced analytics on fuel data
  • Establish protocols and procedures for application usage
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues with the application
  • Develop databases for the application
  • Deliver training sessions for users

  • Master/Bachelor's degree in Economics, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proficiency in project management
  • Experience in IT application, interface, and infrastructure management
  • Knowledge of eProcurement such as e-Tendering and e-Invoicing
  • Experience in providing instructions and training to employees
  • Practical familiarity with SAP CO, FI
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) at a minimum C1 level
  • Proficient in German (written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
  • Advanced skills in MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SQL
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Effective cooperation, independence, systematic work approach, and customer focus
  • Proficiency in conflict management
