GSC Finance Manager Short Term Assignment (approx. 24 months) Position purpose: The position focuses on overseeing all aspects of JTI Standard Product cost management and coordinating interactions with GSC Factories and Markets in this area. The role also involves supporting the enhancement and management of the GSC Finance Systems landscape. What will you do - responsibilities:
  • Product Cost Oversight and Compliance: Coordinate Product Cost planning process within GSC Finance, factories, and cross-functional teams; Validate Standard Product Cost for new SKXs in specific areas outside of AP scope (LVMC); Execute J-SOX Controls related to SKU Product Cost and Cost of Goods Sold (PC26, SC01); Follow up on control execution errors with factory finance teams.
  • Planned COGS Analysis and Reporting: Consolidate, analyze, and control JTI Product costs globally during ME closing, LE, and Annual/Strategic planning cycles; Check cost estimations for VMC planning activities; Validate Central Variance allocations and release Directional VMCs to markets based on assumptions; Roll out Standard Product Cost (VMCs) to markets during ASP time (CRO); Act as a Single Point of Contact for market inquiries; Contribute to Product Cost Accounting procedure relevance.
  • Cost Estimates: Calculate Product cost estimates for new product introductions and upgrades; Provide accurate estimations to Markets for pre-PLM Quick VMC inquiries and PLM projects; Facilitate analysis and insights for cost estimation improvements; Offer guidance on Quick VMC processes to NPD and market representatives.
  • GSC Projects: Manage financial systems and processes projects within GSC Finance; Coordinate with GSC BTS team for effective project communication; Participate in financial data analysis and reporting improvements within GSC.
  • Participate actively in optimizing financial data analysis and reporting within GSC.
Who we are looking for - requirements:
  • University degree in Economics or Finance (ACCA/CIMA professional qualification is a plus);
  • Minimum 2 years of international company experience;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, Profound knowledge of software applications, especially SAP, BW, and MS Excel.
