ProPursuit is currently looking for an experienced IT Director for a world leading Fintech client of ours based in Warsaw.

This role will offer hybrid remote working, requiring 4 days onsite per week.

The Director of Information Technology will manage and direct the company's information technology (IT), ensuring the department provides efficient and effective technical support service to all stakeholders. Is responsible for transformation of the currently separated processes/systems in order to ensure highest efficiency (both technical and financial aspects) of the technology development business lines.

Your role:

  • Will be acting as Coordinator and Change Manager leading efforts to improve IT processes
  • You will be overseeing technical projects in alignment with organizational goals (plan-delivery)
  • Managing quality/timing/efficiency of product delivery processes
  • You will be responsible for building cost and technology effective implementation process
  • Transforming CIO EMEA strategy into action
  • You will be recommending and managing implementation of technical solutions, processes adjustment, systems redesign and resources allocation
  • Ensuring that a company's information technology is continuously available and secure
  • Consolidating local platforms
  • Client Facing internally and externally
  • Migrating local solutions to strategic solutions
  • Closely collaborating with the Management Board
  • Facilitating IT security audits or investigations
  • Identifying and managing the single points of failure
  • Managing the local team

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree in Computer Sciences
  • 5+ years of working experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Experience in large scale Operations
  • Experience in working in a multinational environment in huge and matrix organizations
  • Experience in transformation of global solutions into local business needs
  • Experience in managing Software Delivery with large teams
  • Ability to align corporate multinational strategy and local needs
  • Excellent knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle
  • Ability to clearly articulate the company's strategy to the team
  • Proactive and self-driven attitude
  • Experience in client facing and with prior participation in Steercos
  • Ownership and ability to work outside comfort zone to achieve results
  • Fluency in both English and Polish is required
