Looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor

About the Position:

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and seasoned AP Supervisor to become part of our dynamic team. As the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies and procedures. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining Boston Scientific's financial well-being and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the AP team, offering direction and assistance to maintain high performance.
  • Manage the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process, including purchase orders, invoice processing, and payments.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Develop and execute process enhancements to boost efficiency and cut costs.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to meet targets and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
  • Address escalated issues and conflicts with vendors and internal parties.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Procurement, Finance, and sourcing to streamline operations and optimize the end-to-end P2P team.
  • Provide training and growth opportunities for the AP team.
  • Create and present regular reports to senior management on AP performance and projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a P2P, AP, or similar role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Solid grasp of purchase-to-pay processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in SAP (Knowledge of SAP 4Hana is a plus).
  • Effective leadership and team management abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French, German, or Hebrew would be advantageous.
