Who We Are Looking for?

State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider that forms the core of the Alpha front-to-back strategy, blending technology and services to deliver significant data management value to our clients. We are seeking a candidate to join our Alpha Data Services team as a Market Data Governance and Change Management Analyst.

This team plays a crucial role in connecting the front, middle, and back office through the first open platform from a single provider. Your contribution will be essential in facilitating data harmonization, technology integration, and service alignment across trusted providers to help our clients optimize their businesses. Your New Role

As part of the Alpha Data Services team, the Alpha Data Service Market Data Governance and Change Management Senior Expert, Assistant Vice President will:

  • Maintain governance processes and controls related to authorized market data use cases in all State Street AlphaSM solutions.
  • Collaborate with various State Street AlphaSM teams to mitigate any risks associated with market data contract grants.
  • Oversee third-party risk workflow and procurement engagements to support market data for State Street AlphaSM client implementations.
  • Implement controls and manage market data changes from vendors, clients, and business teams across all State Street AlphaSM clients.
  • Compile and submit necessary reports to third-party market data vendors.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or equivalent field.
  • Extensive and recent experience in reviewing market data vendor contracts and understanding their impact on business operations.
  • Experience in leading meetings across multiple divisions within the organization.
  • Expertise in process workflow analysis leading to change implementation affecting various teams across the organization.
  • Outstanding communication and English language skills.
