Participating as a trainee in UPM ́s Summer Recruitment Project has been an amazing learning experience for me. What you will do

We are looking for HR trainees for multiple teams with slightly different areas of responsibility.

In the Join team, you will support one of our recruitment project teams: Finnish apprenticeship program recruitment (Fall) or the summer recruitment program (Spring).

As member of recruitment project team you will:

  • Handle applications and applicants' inquiries, schedule interviews and ensure great employee and candidate experience by maintaining clear and consistent communication
  • Work closely with the team of recruiters and assist them in their daily tasks and support UPM employees in Finland with the HR system

In the Rewards and Career Changes team you will be responsible forperformingvarious tasks related to employment lifecycleadministration and reporting.You willmaintain employees' personal, employment,andcompensation data in our HR system, prepare documents, administer benefit processes, prepare various reports, and answer queries related to our HRsystem and employment.

In the Develop & Perform team you will be supporting our Specialists with face-to-face and digital training sessions arrangements, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, managing participants, reporting, and verifying training invoices.

Who you are

  • You are fluent in Finnish and have an excellent command of English, both spoken and written
  • You are a student in a relevant field of studies – also students in the beginning of their studies are welcome to apply
  • You are interested in HR and eager to learn how it is organized in a global company
  • You can systematically approach a high volume of diverse assignments and handle competing priorities
  • You demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail

Additional information

The internships are planned for Fall 2024, and for Spring 2025.

We are located in Eximius Park in Zabierzów, Kraków area.We will support you with your relocation to Kraków, also accommodation and internship compensation is provided. In addition, we advise looking into possible funding options at your university or other organizations in your field.
