This will include contributing towards the Pod/team and ideas for requirements which ultimately become tests as part of the Behaviour Driven Development process. As an Business QA Associate you will be expected to gain an understanding of the product under test and use this understanding alongside your testing experience to question and identify defects and improvements to the product features delivered. Finding bugs/defects and working directly with developers to fix these.What you’ll doDefine and monitor productivity to be used for test progress as well as liaise with other members of the project team to ensure test cases corresponding to designs accurately reflect the spec and meet customer requirements.Work collaboratively with colleagues and other teams to ensure speed to market following agile practices.Adhere to and ensure others follow test governing standard set by QA discipline.Identity and contribute to implementation of improvements to make delivery more efficient saving time and/or money e.g. automation & reuse of test artefacts.Ensure project journey meets business & customer standards highlighting appropriately issues or improvements during requirements / testing phases.Validate customer behaviour and highlight any gaps / missed requirements.Raise clear concise defects, no duplication and linking of common issues / Highlight any detrimental impacts where defects have been agreed not to be fixed.Carry out effective tests to cover requirements and customer behaviour to ensure defects are caught and do not make it through to live e.g. writing test cases from matrix provided or detailing exploratory cases based on a story.What you need to have to succeed in this roleExcellent knowledge of the testing process, digital / staff channels, and customer expectationsGood relationship management skills to satisfy a wide range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities.Good knowledge of the Agile development methodologyExperience in using test tools such as Jira and ConfluenceISTQB qualification but not essentialExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex issues.Pragmatic decision-making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, e.g. risk, customer experience and people to determine the implications and make recommendations as needed.Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Exploratory Quality Assurance (QA) Tester / Test Coordinator is desirable but not essential.What we offerCompetitive salaryAnnual performance-based bonusAdditional bonuses for recognition awardsMultisport cardPrivate medical careLife insuranceOne-time reimbursement of home office set-up (up to 800 PLN).Corporate parties & eventsCSR initiativesSocial fundFlexible working hours Free parkingNursery discountsFinancial support with trainings and educationIf your CV meets our criteria, you should expect the following steps in the recruitment process:Online behavioural testTelephone screenZoom interview with the hiring managerWe are looking to hire as soon as possible so don’t wait and apply nowYou'll achieve more when you join HSBC.
