We are also assembling teams for managing international funds and aiding internal financial processes of TMF Group.

Job Focus

TMF delivers a variety of services for multinational companies to support them in local business operations, preparing for new market entries, or engaging across borders. These services encompass Global Entity Management, Accounting & Tax, and HR & Payroll. Additionally, TMF Group is a well-recognized global player in managing Capital Markets transactions and PERE investments, delivering a comprehensive range of fund and business services.

Currently, TMF is revolutionizing how we serve our latest global clients. As part of this evolution, we are setting up Regional Delivery Centers, and now, we are in search of accounting analysts to streamline statutory financial statement preparation.

The main goal of this role is to institute and enhance efficiencies in executing statutory financial statements within the Accounting & Tax realm.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work remotely (within Poland) or adopt a hybrid work model from the Katowice office.

Primary Duties

  • Compose statutory financial statements with notes promptly to ensure compliance with all accounting standards and legal requisites
  • Help review financial statements prepared by less experienced team members when necessary
  • Analyze information, reports, ledgers, and other accounting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness, suggesting necessary actions and adjustments to aid planning and decision-making
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, offering advice and guidance as needed, and aiding in issue resolution to ensure timely and accurate statutory financial statements
  • Aid in drafting notes and disclosures for financial statements as needed to meet statutory requirements utilizing OneSource technology
  • Aid in formulating and executing policies, procedures, and standards for preparing input into statutory reporting to enhance the quality, accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of statutory financial statements continually
  • Produce precise, thoughtful, and comprehensive statutory financial statements, along with basic analysis and notes, within tight deadlines, meeting all legal and accounting requisites across multiple countries. Enhancing processes by minimizing duplication, promoting standardization, leveraging technological solutions, fostering innovation, and enhancing functional synergies across a vast and diverse business landscape

Main Competencies

Essential Knowledge and Experience

  • Prior involvement in a multi-country, multi-legal entity environment, ideally in a BPO/Centralized service delivery setup
  • Around 4-5 years of experience in accounting (preferably in the R2R process) or auditing
  • Mandatory experience in preparing statutory financial statements
  • Experience working in MNCs or mid-tier audit firms will be beneficial
  • Ideally, a degree in Accounting or Finance from a university
  • Preferred experience with global software such as OneSource, SAP, DAX, Oracle for financial statements
