We are looking for a Head of Sales, e-commerce to join our team. If you are looking for challenging projects with high autonomy and ownership this offer is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong sales strategy to grow ZEN.com's presence at leading European online retailers (groceries, fashion, marketplaces and more).
  • Proactively seek and establish strategic partnerships with key players in the e-commerce industry to expand ZEN.com's market reach and influence.
  • Analyze the market and develop new verticals
  • Prepare and execute on commercial initiatives such as product launches and marketing campaigns, as well as drive merchant innovation through rollout of new ZEN solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage partnerships for mutual growth and business development.
  • Utilize data analytics and market insights to make informed decisions and continually optimize the sales strategy.
  • Develop and execute training programs for the sales team, ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the e-commerce landscape.
  • Own a pipeline of enterprise-level opportunities and drive the end to end sales cycle from establishing the need to closing the deal.
  • Manage client relationships from CEOs to operational teams
  • Support and close complex deals
  • Partner with merchants to deliver best-in-class online and mobile check-out experience to drive incremental sales with ZEN
  • Work with Product, Marketing and Risk teams ot enhance ZEN.coms' value proposition and design tailored solutions
  • Manage team of Sales Representatives

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in e-commerce sales, with a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor landscapes, and emerging technologies.
  • Proven track record of successful sales strategies and achievements in the e-commerce sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing high-performing sales teams, with a focus on fostering collaboration, motivation, and professional growth.
  • Proven ability to develop high-performing teams, including setting clear goals & deliverables
  • Experience of working with merchant verticals such as: Retail, Apparel, consumer goods, groceries, gambling, forex, and digital goods
  • Strong ability to navigate and lead teams in a fast-paced and dynamic e-commerce environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close complex, high-value deals.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the global e-commerce landscape, with a focus on key markets beyond Europe.
  • Proven ability to adapt and tailor sales strategies to diverse cultural and market nuances, ensuring ZEN.com's success on a global scale
  • Proficiency in utilizing e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and other relevant sales technologies to streamline processes, track performance metrics, and drive efficiency.
  • Ability to stay updated on the latest technological advancements in e-commerce and leverage them to enhance sales strategies and team productivity
  • Ability to manage stressful situations whilst juggling multiple challenges: creative problem solver
  • Fluent in English. Additional Polish or other EU languages will be beneficial
