For our Client, a global company with a Shared Service Center structure, we are looking for a Junior GL Accountant responsible for performing full GL procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • processing GL transactions,
  • participating actively in month-end closing procedures,
  • preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and statements,
  • analyzing profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation reports, cash flow statements, debtor and creditor records, repayment schedules, regulatory filings, and other reports,
  • maintaining accurate entries in the fixed asset module,
  • collaborating with various departments and units within the organization.

Requirements:

  • higher Education in Finance & Accounting or relevant field,
  • previous professional experience in the GL/RTR departments or the Accounting Office,
  • English language skills at B2 level,
  • professional use of Excel,
  • knowledge of JD Edwards software is an asset,
  • SOX standard knowledge is an asset.
