The purpose of the role

Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Leader is responsible for overseeing and driving the end-to-end business planning process, integrating demand and supply planning in line with the company’s strategic objectives. This role will manage cross-functional collaboration to deliver accurate forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and support customer demand with resilient service while minimizing costs. The IBP Leader will be instrumental in developing and executing a seamless planning process and will be responsible for continuous improvement of operational efficiency and business performance.

She/He must be able to cover the role of any of the members of the Team (reportees) if needed.

The IBP leader will report into the EE Supply Chain Director. SC Director reports VP SC Europe.

Your main responsibilities:

Leadership and Strategy:

Continuous improvement of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and Joint forecasting with key external partners. Align IBP processes with BU strategic goals and objectives. Drive cross-functional collaboration across sales, marketing, finance, operations, and planning hub to ensure proper planning, execution and better results.

S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning):

Coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, driving decision-making and alignment across the organization. Ensure the S&OP process is robust, up-to-date, with timely and accurate inputs, scenario planning, and risk management. Ensure alignment between value forecast commitments and volume forecasts in demand planning tools to support accurate and achievable business goals Integrate market intelligence, demand insights, and expertise into S&OP discussions, positively influencing the S&OP outcome when needed. Clearly translate and cascade key decisions and action items from S&OP meetings to the demand planning team, providing specific guidance on required adjustments and highlighting potential risks.

Demand Planning:

Oversee the demand planning process, ensuring accurate forecasting based on market trends, historical data, and customer insights. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to integrate promotional plans, product launches, and market intelligence into demand forecasts. Utilize advanced analytics and tools to refine demand forecasting models and improve accuracy.

Supply & Inventory management:

Liaise with Planning Hub to ensure proper service level to BU customers Liaise with key GTM partners to keep inventory levels on aligned targets, balancing service level requirements with cost efficiency. Monitor Value at Risk stock and lead action plans on prevention and depletion of idle stock.

Team Management:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for demand and supply planning, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in IBP processes and tools.

Communication and Collaboration:

Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment in planning and decision-making. Communicate effectively with senior leadership on planning outcomes, risks, and opportunities. Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure a holistic approach to business planning.

What you will bring along:

Minimum of 3 years of significant experience in supply chain. Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree. Prior experience driving process improvement and performance metrics. SAP knowledge and hands on testing skills is valued. Significant analytical orientation and data-driven decision making. Results oriented, autonomous and efficient. Stakeholder management, negotiation and project management skills. Flexibility to travel
