About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expansion in theBaltics region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, with a focus on the Banking, Fintech, Gambling and Corporate sectors. Your mission is to cultivate the market by implementing a strategic approach to sales and efficiently coordinating LexisNexis Risk Solutions resources. Some travel may be required to support customers and attend industry events.
Responsibilities:
Sales Cycle Management: Managing the entire sales cycle, from pre-sales activities through to post-sales support, ensuring the successful closure of complex deals.
Identifying target segments and creating tailored sales strategies to address specific regional challenges and opportunities.
Understanding your customers’ goals and objectives, business requirements and strategic goals, and to advise them on how LNRS can help.
Driving market initiatives, supporting market planning, marketing and product development teams to maximize new business opportunities within the geographic/industry sector markets.
Conducting market research to understand regional trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
Creating a high-quality pipeline and ensuring that all pipeline activity is accurately documented in the CRM system.
Working closely with LNRS SMEs, facilitating regular communication and collaboration among stakeholders to align goals and share insights.
Putting the customer first, providing timely responses and exceptional levels of service for all enquiries.
Prioritizing face to face engagement.
Experience / Qualifications:
Fluent English, Russian is a must, other languages (Latvian, Estonian) will be a bonus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably within the Banking, Fintech, Gaming or Corporate sectors.
Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Regional experience (Baltics, Gaming sector in CEE) will be a big plus.
Experience in closing complex software deals valued in the six-figure range.
Excellent sales, communication, networking, and negotiation skills. Certification in MEDDICC or other Sales methodologies is an added advantage.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
