Your Misson

You are the lead of insights, development & growth for my chosen categories across ALL channels.  You are accountable for driving development & category growth in a profitable way through value creating strategy and channel differentiation. You manage a team of Category Developer, Category Manager and Activation Manager.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

CREATE CATEGORY STRATEGY TO MAXIMIZE GROWTH: 

Define National Action Plan for respective category for PL & BL markets. Lead Category Growth plan together with multifunctional team: Y to Y planning. Build Category Growth Story and support with Category Development projects. Lead Category Growth meetings to cascade category priorities across the CPD organization.

LEAD CATEGORY DEVELOPMENT: 

Analyze Category Performance and gather Category Shopper Insights. Define the ambitions of Market Shares and Share of Space. Define Key Category Projects and assortment, distribution and activations priorities. Lead category assortment strategy (channel differentiation, format strategy, exclusivity management) and HUB harmonization. Lead the Cross Functional Category and Activation Team to achieve excellence in Activation.

VALUE CREATION

Co-Definition of the Promotional Strategy together with RGM. Definition of the Golden Rules of the categories. Co-Design and follow up of the national promotional strategy.  Lead key RGM projects (e.g. format strategy, conjoints etc.) with support of RGM team.
