For our client - an international company operating distribution centres, we are looking for a Commercial Manager.

Your Duties

  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Director to identify new customer opportunities.
  • Oversee pipeline management, drive opportunity development, and actively seek out new clients to maximize warehouse capacity and establish enduring client partnerships.
  • Expand and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
  • Manage contracts, ensuring that both parties meet their obligations, including price adjustments when necessary.
  • Develop a professional customer service team, ensuring top-tier service quality.
  • Continuously enhance supply chain processes through optimization and ongoing improvements.
  • Maintain regular communication with customers, resolving issues and handling escalations effectively.
  • Conduct regular customer feedback surveys, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
  • Provide commercial assistance during the forecasting process and the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
  • Track performance against targets and budgets, offering recommendations for risk management when performance lags behind.

Our Expectations

  • At least 5 years of experience and knowledge of logistics processes.
  • Background in sales, business development, and negotiation.
  • Proven experience in managing teams.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
