The Finance Applications team is part of the Core Applications unit within DNV’s Global Shared Services IT. The team focuses on establishing, maintaining, and supporting a full overview of finance applications to ensure stable end-to-end operations across the globe. With Oracle eBusiness Suite at its core, additional products to complement the key processes such as purchasing, banking, credit collection, and invoicing, are also part of the finance suite. A well-functioning and up-to-date finance system acts as a key engine to support our organization's commercial and financial commitments, with integrations to our business production and reporting tools. 

The Record to Report Functional Analyst is a part of Record to Report team within Finance Applications unit. As with all Finance Applications teams, the employees are located across the globe, with the majority of the team members based in the Global Shared Service Centers in Pune (India) and Gdynia (Poland). The team works as one unit regardless of location, and work is prioritized based on customer needs and skills, not location. The Record to Report team covers solutions related to general ledger including secondary and reporting ledgers, including COA maintenance, and system archiving, with the main product supported being Oracle eBusiness suite. 

In your role, you will be (but not exhaustive): 

Strong system knowledge within their key process. Responsible for ensuring the Finance Applications solutions are maintained in line with the Global Template approach, as well as supporting Country Specific requirements where relevant.  Proactively working with other team members and FA teams to ensure customer issues are resolved quickly, and with a high level of quality.  Able to discuss and align on solutions with Solution Architects and Global Process Owners before developing solutions. Able to engage with key stakeholders to discuss the current solutions which the team support from an overview perspective.  Responsible for delivering requirements which are developed, documented, tested, and implemented according to agreed standards and best practise.  Able to follow the agreed best practise approach around development, and ensuring documentation is of a high quality and maintained.  Able to engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels within the organisation.  Always work with a root cause resolution approach to issues and drive strong customer communication.  Flexible work arrangements for better work-life balance.  Generous Paid Leaves (Annual, Sick, Compassionate, Local Public, Marriage, Maternity, Paternity, Medical leave). A strong understanding of ERP solutions relevant to the role  4+ years of delivering high quality support to customers Good knowledge of GL and FA module (knowledge of other modules like AP, AR, PA is an advantage) Ability to analyze, configure and resolve issues by leveraging technical languages and tools . SQL, Automic, SQL Developer A bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience, preferably in Finance, GSS IT, or HR. To be able to drive a solution mindset with your team members with a high attention to detail.  Proven track record of meeting timelines and deliverables to a high quality. Ability to identify, resolve, mitigate, and escalate issues as they occur. Ability to make timely and effective decisions on incoming cases. Ability to plan & organize own daily tasks.
