Scope of responsibilities:

Lead the implementation of VTU strategies and develop business plans within the engineering industry, engaging directly with selected customer representatives. Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities in various sectors including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, cosmetics, food plants, and oil & gas. Ensure alignment between customer needs and business requirements, collaborating closely with the Engineering Team. Contribute to short and long-term plant development plans and assist in defining strategic objectives. Identify market potentials and new clients based on VTU's business objectives. Generate new business relationships through pre-existing contacts, research, and inbound leads, while also building and nurturing networks. Actively participate in projects to develop customized solutions for clients. Lead client acquisition efforts from initial contact to contract closure. Prioritize prospects based on customer needs, focusing on building strategic partnerships rather than transactional sales. Perform analysis to understand market trends and provide actionable insights to drive optimal outcomes.

Requirements:

Higher education in specialty: Chemical Technology, Chemical and Process Engineering, Bio-technology or derivatives, Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, oil & gas, or metallurgy. Proven track record of winning contracts within one or more of the aforementioned sectors. Demonstrated initiative in independently initiating new activities and motivating others to take action. Proficiency in English or German languages at a communicative level. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. Ability to thrive and deliver results under time pressure.
