Main purpose of the position:

As a PTP Associate / PTP Junior Associate the candidate will become a part of our ISS Finance Service Center office located in Gdańsk. They will support the team of accounting professionals responsible for, depending on the team:

Resolution of issues via the supplier statement reconciliation and account management process via Jira ticketing system in line with the internal Service Level Agreements – Account Management team; Delivery of core transactional processing for supplier invoices/credit notes and Employee expense claims across multiple source systems and the main ERP accounting system (Navision) – Transactional Processing team; Execution of payments of 3rd party supplier and subcontractor invoices and employee expenses in accordance with SLA, payment terms and Prompt Payment Code, as per the defined payment schedule, including managing exceptional payment requests and ensuring full allocation of all items at the point of payment – Cash & Payments team. Much of the interactions day to day will involve liaison with ISS employees and the ISS Procurement teams.

What you will do:

As part of Account Management Team, you would fully reconcile and cleanse accounts as per the Supplier Statement Rec (SSR) Policy, take ownership of assigned supplier accounts including the critical ones, re-educate Internal/external stakeholders on invoice compliance to drive right first-time invoice submission across multiple sub systems, respond to Supplier and business PTP queries daily using the ISS query portal (Jira) and clear supplier accounts in NAV system; As part of Transactional Processing Team, you would be processing expenses and invoices via various sub-systems (Concur SAP, Coupa, DCS, Maximo, Saffron) and handling internal queries via Jira ticketing system. You will be responsible for ensuring that employee expenses and supplier invoices are processed in timely manner in accordance with the ISS Policies and within agreed SLA’s. Part of the team is also responsible for the interfaces from the sub-systems to the ERP system (Navision). As part of Cash & Payments Team, you would be processing of 3rd party supplier/sub-contractor and employees payment runs in accordance with HMRC and ISS Policy, take care of Daily clearing of BACS/CHAPS/ Direct Debit payments, resolution in line with project timeliness, with root cause and recommendations to drive best practice processes going forwards. Respond to the employee, business and Supplier PTP queries daily using the ISS query portal (Jira). Work with team lead to deliver continuous improvement and support initiatives to maintain the integrity of the systems. Support internal and external audit requests (downloading required documentation). Participate as required as a team member in other special projects. Carry out any other ad-hoc duties, as and when required.

Close collaboration with all PTP teams within FSC Gdańsk (Account Management, Transactional Processing and Cash & Payments teams). Close cooperation with UK market colleagues. Professional skills you possess/Perfect expectations Junior Associate: Financial background (coming from studies/work experience/interest); Associate: Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance area (former experience in SSC/PTP/Accounts Payable area would be advantageous but not essential); Good understanding of PTP / Accounts Payable area; Good English communication skills (min. B1 level); Experience of working with Coupa/Saffron/Maximo/Navision would be advantageous but not essential.
