Medical Science Manager

As a Medical Science Manager at Sobi, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and real-world clinical practice. Your expertise will drive impactful scientific exchange, foster valuable relationships, and contribute to the development and dissemination of life-changing treatments.
- Build Relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs). Establish and maintain professional, peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs in healthcare, academia, payer, and government organizations, aligning with strategic territory plans.
- Disseminate Data and Share Knowledge. Contribute to effective and compliant data dissemination according to the country medical affairs plan, ensuring balanced and accurate medical and scientific communications.
- Respond to Medical Inquiries. Address unsolicited medical inquiries from HCPs within defined timelines and quality standards, providing therapeutic training for sales and medical colleagues upon request.
- Communicate Key Medical Insights. Communicate key medical insights from KOLs and HCPs to refine and enhance medical strategies and tactics.
- Stay Informed and Enhance Expertise. Maintain awareness of internal and external information sources to support high-quality scientific exchange with HCPs.
- Collaborate Across Functions. Work effectively with cross-functional international Sobi teams and local affiliate management, engaging with clinicians, nurses, biomedical scientists, decision-makers, and patient advocacy groups.

Qualifications:
- University degree in a medical-science discipline or related field.
- Medical, clinical or research experience in the assigned disease area is preferred (Hematology, hemostasis or orphan diseases)
- Proven scientific/medical reading, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience in pre-launch and launch activities.
- Creativity and ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Analytical ability to critically assess scientific data and literature.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation capabilities.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and innovative thinker.
- Resilient and flexible, able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent travel ( 50-60% of the time) is required.
- Valid driver’s license.
