Join Our Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO) Team as an Accounting Operations Specialist for Asset Management

At Bayer, we're embracing a new operating model called Dynamic Shared Ownership (DSO), which is all about driving impact through collective strengths and creativity. We're looking for an Accounting Operations Specialist who is passionate about contributing to the financial reliability and integrity of our Asset Management operations.

Your Mission:

As an integral member of our DSO team, you'll ensure the seamless execution of Asset Management accounting operations, aligning with both international and local financial standards. You'll play a pivotal role in maintaining the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, ensuring compliance with Bayer's rigorous standards while also being open to the flow of ideas and continuous improvement.

Your Impact:

- Execute Asset Management accounting transactions with precision, ensuring adherence to process documentation and standards, particularly related to:

the investment process; creation and maintenance of asset master data; the transfer, disposal and sale of assets; closing and reporting activities; physical inventory count; handling of audit requests;

- Serve as the go-to person and Company Responsible for operational topics within your legal entity, fostering a collaborative environment and driving mission-focused outcomes.

- Uphold accounting standards and procedures, while also seeking ways to evolve and enhance processes within our DSO framework.

- Collaborate across teams to address and resolve issues, leveraging peer accountability and a creative mindset to deliver value.

- Contribute to process improvements, actively participating in a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.

- Provide support for your peers, embracing the flexibility and talent flow that DSO embodies.

Who We're Looking For:

- A degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with at least 1 year of experience in a related field.

- A foundation in accounting principles and a desire to grow and take on new challenges within a dynamic system.

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and a good command of English (minimum B2 level).

- Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to build sustainable stakeholder networks.

- An organized and dedicated team player who is eager to learn and ready to embrace change.

- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
