People Relations Partner

As the People Relations Partner, you will oversee the People Relations functions mainly for the Polish Market which is part of Region East as same to provide your expertise from the Employee Relations area for other countries within the region when needed. Your responsibilities will include implementing global processes, policies, and guidelines, ensuring they comply with local laws, practices, and needs. You will also facilitate the alignment between global and local requirements to achieve a unified approach and effective delivery where necessary.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for labor law, industrial & labor relations including legal advice connected to e.g., new markets, business models and strategies.
- Represent H&M Group, build and manage proactive and constructive relations with local work councils and unions.
- Proactively interpret and apply laws, regulations, and agreements to secure compliance.
- Responsible for Work environment (physical, digital, organizational, and social work environment/psychosocial) and Wellbeing including health and safety management.
- Set and implement a systematic way of working within the health and safety area by investigating, risk assessing, raising awareness, mitigating potential risks and follow up across the organization together with the Security team.
- Collaborate with Regional People Relations Manager to implement and adapt policies, guidelines, and frameworks locally.
- Give expert advice on People Relations and support to managers, HR, local crisis team, and other functions in the local market working multi when needed.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you should have experience in People Relations or similar roles, being solution-oriented and pragmatic individual who approaches problems with curiosity and a willingness to learn. Being a team player who strives to build strong relationships and collaborations both internally and externally is crucial.
What you need to succeed:
- Experience and worked within People relations areas.
- Knowledge and experience with Polish employment legislation and labor law
- Proven track record in leading local-level negotiations and building strong relationships.
- Strong communication skills, both persuasive and assertive.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish.
- Experience in driving transformation, setting, and implementing strategies.
- Fair, empathetic, solution oriented, and committed to both the business and employee well-being.
- Analytical and reflective mindset.
- Experience in the retail sector is a plus.
- Formal education or experience in Human Resources/Labour Law (or equivalent).
Additional Information
This is a full-time position, located in Warsaw, Poland. People Relations Partner reports to the Regional People Relation Manager.
