Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Head of QA for our Game Engine team. This position involves complete oversight and management of testing processes, as well as active leadership in establishing and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong sense of responsibility, excellent leadership skills, and a collaborative approach to team management.
What will you do?
Develop and implement a testing strategy to ensure high quality of new game engine. Manage testing processes, including automation and manual testing. Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Lead the QA team in accordance with the current development model and HR policy goals: Hire, transfer, motivate, evaluate, train, and develop team members.Build and organize QA teams.Develop and manage team budgets.Establish and promote a culture of discipline and support in difficult situations.Solve the conflicts, help and support in difficult situations. Establish the quality of interactions between QA engineers and with employees from other disciplines and products. Analyze test results, identify and address systemic issues and bugs. Develop and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality. English level B2 or higher.
What are we looking for?
At least 7 years of QA experience, preferably in the game industry. Experience leading a QA team. Knowledge of modern testing methodologies and tools. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Strong analytical skills, able to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Experience with test automation, programming languages, and scripting.
Work mode
Hybrid (2-3 days of work from the office)
