As an Administration & Payroll Specialist, you will be part of Philips People Services team and perform administrative and payroll tasks for employees based in the United Kingdom and Ireland, including managing personnel & payroll data, benefits, and talent administration.

In this role you will:

  1. Process changes in employees' employment life-cycle according to country payroll calendar and global guidelines (new hire, transfer, time & attendance, benefits, payroll) - data input to Workday and other HR systems.
  2. Process and update requests in case management system.
  3. Prepare respective employment documentation (contract of employment, leaver letter, certificates, etc.).
  4. Generate admin & payroll reports (e.g. Workday).
  5. Process personal data changes of Philips employees (Workday, downstream systems).
  6. Generate reference and visa application letters.
  7. Support HR Advisors with complex queries related to admin & payroll area and be a back-up to cover daily operations.
  8. Liase with HR Managers, Reward Partners, and People Managers in order to investigate particular employees' cases.
  9. Perform internal controls in accordance with ICS/SoX.
  10. Support role for People Managers to guide them through business processes executed in Workday according to global guidelines.
  11. Collaborate with vendors, external providers, and other supporting departments (benefits provider, IT department, finance, etc.).
  12. Collaborate with members of country local team on HR related topics.
  13. Participate in regional/global improvement projects, delivering sound customer solutions.

You're the right fit if:

  1. You have a Bachelor/Master degree.
  2. You are fluent in English (both orally and in writing).
  3. Knowledge and understanding of HR processes and policies, experience in payroll - will be an additional asset.
  4. Workday/SAP HR system knowledge is a plus.
  5. You are familiar with MS Office.
  6. You are detail-oriented.
  7. You have the ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload; multi-tasking is essential.
  8. You are careful, cautious, and honest in processing confidential information.
  9. You have the ability to work in a changing environment to meet demanding deadlines and timescales.
  10. You possess excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
  11. You are an effective listener and have highly developed interpersonal skills.
