We are seeking a highly motivated Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland, and support the operations in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, problem-solving expertise, and outstanding customer service to clients in Europe. This position is crucial to ensuring customer satisfaction and the seamless operation of Wabtec Corporation products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical support for Wabtec's products (brakes and pneumatics).
  • Collaborate with the sales and product department regarding sales inquiries.
  • Provide technical supervision and coordination of the mobile service team in Europe.
  • Oversee technical operations of the Service Center.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions and guidance to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to escalate complex technical problems and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, preferably in the transportation or industrial sector. Experience with brakes and braking systems will be a big advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically and critically.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience with technical documentation and reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel.
