We are now looking for a Strategic Service Accounts Manager - EMEA to join our team anywhere in EUROPE.

The Strategic Service Accounts Manager is accountable for driving growth in Service sales and profitability with the assigned Accounts, securing Vertiv as the Account's preferred partner during the entire Product Lifecycle period.

Working together with the Strategic Account Managers/Directors, you will manage the relationship with assigned Strategic Accounts, owning the Service Account plan/reviews process and representing the company in front of the Account's stakeholders.

You will be responsible for implementing the Service sales strategy, aligned with overall Vertiv strategy, and working with peers, local Service Organisations, and other internal functions to exceed Customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for Service Sales targets for the assigned Accounts.
  • Manage the long-term building and maintenance of relationships with Accounts and the resulting Customer Satisfaction.
  • Anticipate Commercial and Technical needs, investigate underlying causes, and identify short- and longer-term solutions.
  • Create and follow up on the Service Account Plan and Service Activity Plan. Lead Service business development plans over the short to medium term.
  • Manage the sales of all service pillars while working with Strategic Account Managers.
  • Work with the Sales Account Manager in charge of the Account to provide a "one face to the customer" interface.
  • Contribute to monitoring the market, identify new business opportunities, and propose and drive Service Action Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Trade Compliance for all activities, tasks, and responsibilities.

As an individual, you will need to have segment industry experience, commercial acumen, and the capability to build strong networks internally within the Vertiv community. The achievement of your targets will require effective coordination between the different business segments to fulfill customers' requirements, so strong communication skills are key. Furthermore, you will need to have the technical competence to understand the full breadth of the Vertiv service and product offering.

Service sales are an extremely important revenue stream for Vertiv, and consequently, we are looking for a highly competent, energetic, and ambitious individual to take on this role within the organization.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Engineering, Business Management, or Economics.
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record in management of Service/Service Sales.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent Business Negotiation skills and relationship builder.
  • Highly developed communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Segment Competitors' landscape.
