Job Description:

For our client, a MedTech international company entering the CEE Market, we are looking for a Country Sales Manager for the Polish Market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive year-over-year growth in sales revenue and profitability in the Polish market.
  2. Manage talent within the sales organization by attracting top talent, ensuring successful onboarding, and focusing on development planning as a way of fostering career growth within the company.
  3. Continually evaluate key performance metrics and prepare forecasting and other reports for sales leadership.
  4. Fully utilize the CRM system daily to manage opportunities in order to achieve double-digit sales growth.
  5. Evaluate market opportunities and prioritize with territory managers.
  6. Understand key customers and their demand drivers, including business model, financial status, and contracts.
  7. Review and monitor all aspects of sales agreement terms and conditions.
  8. Provide regular coaching to territory managers on sales skills and strategies.
  9. Guide territory managers in crafting sales solutions that meet customer needs while maximizing revenue and profitability.
  10. Develop an annual business plan with specific target account goals/forecasts while adhering to the region's revenue, unit, and profit budgets.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues in Finance, Customer Care, Operations, and other departments on process improvements and other cross-functional initiatives.
  12. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics.
  13. Use market insights to identify and prioritize new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. University bachelor's degree in business, economics, or marketing. MBA or postgraduate education in business management is highly desirable.
  2. Five years of professional outside sales experience in the medical device industry; previous team management experience is preferred.
  3. Proven track record of consistent sales excellence including year-over-year revenue and profitability growth.
  4. Ability to work with cross-functional, international teams to achieve goals.
  5. Team player who cultivates a collegial spirit, respects other people's ideas, and understands how to gain agreement and acceptance for new initiatives throughout the organization.
  6. Ability to build trust and persuade executive leaders and key 'C' suite customers.
  7. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make quick decisions with sound judgment.
  8. Ability to understand and articulate the value of the company's products in both clinical and economic terms.
  9. Ability to quickly learn product knowledge, services, market applications, policies, and procedures.
