Job Title: Senior Manager – Insurance Operations (AMS)

The Senior Manager will oversee multiple teams supporting the Americas region, focusing on underwriting support services. These teams will perform front-to-end activities throughout the life-cycle of renewal and prospect accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Insurance Operations teams for Underwriting Support Services like policy maintenance, data entry, endorsements, certificates, policy wordings, invoice issuance, reconciliation, pricing modelling, credit control, etc.
  • Provide superior customer service to all internal and external stakeholders, ensuring high standards are upheld by all colleagues.
  • Ensure processes, procedures, and SLAs are met while considering company aims.
  • Manage workflow and maintain a detailed understanding of task status, prioritizing and organizing team workloads based on expertise and task complexity.
  • Support the transition of new and existing work into the teams in line with Global Operations strategies.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and learning, tracking initiatives where necessary.
  • Participate in the Quality Review Process, working with key stakeholders on process review and improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal and external contacts globally, considering differences in language, time zones, and local standards.
  • Proactively problem-solve to balance client/broker expectations with internal service standards.

You will report to the Poland Head of Managed Services.

We're looking for someone with these abilities and skills:

  • University degree (business, insurance, finance, economy, management is preferable).
  • Fluent Business English; an additional language can be an added value.
  • Proven experience in the insurance business would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a shared service environment would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management and transition processes.
  • Proven leadership running large teams providing services to different customers.
  • Team building skills, setting a high bar for performance, engagement, and commitment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships (internally/externally), establishing credibility amongst clients.
  • Experience of working autonomously and driving initiatives to completion.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic organization with a maturing control environment.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
  • Excellent people skills, communicative, and open to new challenges.
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other commonly used software.
