YOUR TASKS- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation for various products, including user manuals, online help systems, technical specifications, and training materials.
- Collaborate with development, product, and support teams to ensure documentation is up-to-date and accurate.
- Write clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation that meets the needs of stakeholders.
- Organize and structure information in a logical and easily navigable manner.
- Ensure all documentation is accessible and easily searchable for users.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices for technical documentation.
- Extensive experience in creating high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, and how-to guides.
- Strong knowledge of technical writing principles and best practices.
- Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner for a non-technical audience.
- Proficiency with documentation tools.
- Hands-on experience working with content management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).
- Practical knowledge of version control systems such as Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Research and analytical skills for gathering information from various stakeholders, such as developers and engineers.
- Excellent proofreading and editing abilities to ensure documentation is free of errors and inconsistencies.
Nice to have:
- Certification in technical writing will be a plus.
- Familiarity with scripting languages for developer-centric documentation.
- Experience with designing visuals or diagrams to complement technical content.
- Experience and knowledge on Cloud IaaS/PaaS technologies, operating systems and network architectures will be a plus.
