Job Title: Market Analyst Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Market Analyst Lead to join our team at Brown Brothers Harriman. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Markets Analytics function, driving business analysis, market research, and product development.

The Market Analyst Lead will oversee a team of Market Analysts, providing direction and oversight. They will partner with Product Management and Client Solutions teams to ensure appropriate decisions are made related to technology development, partnerships, and client product requests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the growth and talent development of the Market Analysts to meet the evolving needs of the IDS model and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct business analysis for various client projects and initiatives, focusing on understanding client product needs, analyzing challenges, and creating innovative solutions.
  • Apply industry knowledge and standards to BBH's products and client workflows to ensure efficient and effective client solutions.
  • Leverage strong understanding of industry standard messaging and communication protocols to drive critical functionality into applications.
  • Maintain a strong awareness and documentation on market trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications
  • Successful experience in managing and leading a team.
  • Strong understanding and experience in the Financial Services Data Product landscape.
  • Required proficiency in SQL and data management and reporting tools.
  • Global regulatory experience required (T+1, reg reporting, TSRs).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clarity and strong influencing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
