Service Desk Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our UK&ME Service Desk team in Warsaw.

About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will provide first-line technical support to internal customers, resolving hardware and software issues via phone or email. As part of the Service Desk Team, you will work collaboratively to achieve common goals and personal objectives set by the Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to users, analyzing problems and following through to resolution within agreed SLAs.
  • Analyze user queries and escalate complex issues to third-line support when necessary.
  • Log all IT incidents and service requests on the ticketing system, adhering to local and regional IT operational standards.
  • Work flexible shifts between 8:00-24:00, either from home or office.
RequirementsTechnical Skills
  • General understanding of IT principles, including hardware, software, networking, security, virtualization, and mobile devices.
  • Familiarity with Windows 10, Active Directory, Outlook/Exchange, VPN, Citrix, VM solutions, and remote support tools.
  • Experience working with applications used by legal firms, such as time capture, document comparison, and legal information systems.
Personal Skills & Attributes
  • Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written English (C1/C2 level desired).
  • High level of empathy, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Good organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the IT industry.
  • Past experience in corporate IT departments, preferably in Help Desk, Service Desk, or Desktop Support roles.
