The primary sectors we serve include Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewables, Power, Manufacturing, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical. Each of these sectors encounters critical sustainability challenges, and our clients rely on our expertise to operate more sustainably, thus positively impacting our planet.

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Country Manager in Poland to lead and expand ERM's operations within the country, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our clients and fostering a culture of sustainability.

This role involves strategic planning, business development, operational management, and team leadership to drive ERM's growth and impact in Poland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan for ERM in Poland, aligning with global and regional goals
  • Provide visionary leadership to inspire and guide the local team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Act as the primary representative of ERM in Poland, enhancing our reputation and presence in the market

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across our core sectors (Oil & Gas, Mining, Renewables, Power, Manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to grow ERM's client base and market share in Poland

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Polish office, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving revenue and profitability targets
  • Ensure compliance with all local regulations and ERM's global standards for quality, health, safety, and environmental management

Team Development:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent, building a capable and motivated team
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace

Client and Project Management:

  • Ensure the highest level of client satisfaction by delivering innovative and practical solutions to their sustainability challenges
  • Oversee major projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, sustainability, or a related industry
  • Proven track record in a leadership role, with experience managing a team and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of the Polish market and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Polish and English, both written and spoken
  • Ability to travel within Poland and internationally as required
