Bibby Financial Services Poland have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced IT Asset Manager to join our team based in Warsaw, Poland on a hybrid working model. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of 10000PLN – 16000PLN gross per month based on experience, plus benefits.

As our IT Asset Manager, you will own the lifecycle of all IT Software and Hardware assets, for the provisioning of, and tracking of all assets over their lifecycle and for the management of IT asset inventory.

Your responsibilities as our IT Asset Manager will include:
  • Own the IT Hardware Asset Management lifecycle, from purchase to assignment and disposal. Own the related policies, processes, and reporting.
  • Own the IT Software Asset Management lifecycle including all related policies, processes, and reporting. Optimise licensing and deployment of Software to deliver savings.
  • Manage and track all PC assets; Know where all devices are at all times; Assets to be tracked in the Asset Database.
  • Track warranties and continually refresh machines to ensure they remain within warranty; To effectively manage the lease agreements in place.
  • Order assets ensuring a roadmap of replacements is maintained; Manage relationships with suppliers of IT equipment making sure the best service possible is provided.
  • Ensure that adequate stock levels are always maintained to support business needs. Assist in the preparation of planning for the future requirements for IT Assets. Reconcile deliveries against orders and invoices. Manage the billing/invoicing for IT Services as required.
  • Manage the provision of IT Assets for the new joiner process to ensure a PC and other requested equipment is ready for collection or delivery as per requirements.
  • Manage the IT Assets leaver process, ensuring all leavers and their Line Managers are aware of their responsibilities in returning of equipment, all Assets are tracked and managed.
  • Ownership of the machine Operating System Build and re-build process; To make and test changes to the build automation and configuration.
  • Ownership and management of the Software catalogue; Know what Software we have in the environment, where it is installed and that it is patched and secure.
  • Manage the provision of new, replacement, and allocation of temporary machines; To plan, test and undertake endpoint installations, deployments, refreshes or updates.
  • To provide collection, delivery and support for equipment being delivered/removed from/to offices or other locations.
  • Manage all build requests and service requests effectively; To undertake service requests and administrative updates where requested.
  • Work collaboratively with peers to drive maturity and efficiency of the services delivered.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, using influence and persuasion to drive efficiency of service for the business.
  • Follow all governance processes, which will include standards, policies and designs being approved at the Technical Design Authority, and changes being implemented in a controlled scheduled manner after approval from the Change Advisory Board. Create and maintain documentation (Visio diagrams, Word documents, SharePoint lists, CMDB etc.); These documents include service description, administration guides, user guides, knowledge base articles, handover documents; Documentation to be maintained and accurate for all supported services.
Essential knowledge and experience:
  • A clear understanding of the principles of Asset Management and how to capture and track information.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and creating and supporting macro scripts.
  • Strong understanding of Incident Management.
  • Ability to work in a fluid business environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving and a genuine desire to get to the underlying cause of issues and improve service.
  • Experience working with third party suppliers.
  • Customer focused approach.
  • Logical analytical thinking.
Desirable knowledge/experience:
  • ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation.
