Senior Information Technology Security Specialist

ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.
In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. We are committed to fostering innovation and meeting the evolving needs of our clients worldwide.

- conducting technology, risk and cyber security maturity reviews
- conduct comprehensive assessments of existing security measures to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend enhancements
- assessing processes, procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements
- overseeing the analysis and documentation of security incidents to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
- managing internal security initiatives, provide expert consultation, and drive continuous improvement efforts
- collaborating with stakeholders and senior management to gain consensus on security initiatives and obtain necessary approvals
- reporting, drawing conclusions and recommendations from review studies
- supporting internal and external audit requests
- consulting projects regarding adequate measures to fulfill information security requirements.
- providing 2nd Opinion on Risk Assessments (Third-Party Risk, Project Risk, Information Security Risk)
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English
- degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable degree or successfully completed further education or training in the field
- knowledge in the fields of IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure, IT Applications, IT Projects, IT Security or IT incidents/problems
- basic information security/risk management knowledge
- insurance industry experience is an advantage
