We are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to manage client payroll implementations and monthly payroll processing in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert, leading payroll setups, providing guidance to clients, and coaching junior team members.

- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the payroll setup process, addressing inquiries, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
- Oversee payroll implementations, ensuring compliance with Dutch payroll regulations, Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA), and local legal requirements.
- Manage and support the full payroll cycle, including data migration, payroll parallels, and system configurations for new clients.
- Train and mentor junior payroll specialists, ensuring they are equipped to handle regular payroll processing.
- Review and approve monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing payroll-related questions and resolving complex issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Dutch statutory requirements, including tax filings, social security contributions, and other reporting obligations.
- Stay informed of changes in payroll laws and regulations in Dutch and communicate updates to both clients and the team.

Working Model:

This position is in the Local country team.
Our payroll operations are supported by a collaborative working model that combines centralized and local expertise. The centralized teams are responsible for handling the main payroll processing, adhering to a standardized workflow across all regions. The local country teams provide training, guidance, and support to the centralized teams, while focusing on client-facing tasks. Local teams lead implementations, configure payroll engines, conduct final reviews and signoffs, manage local payroll submissions, and address client inquiries. Although the local teams hold senior positions and work closely with the centralized teams, the latter maintain their own standardized processes and do not report directly to the local teams. This approach ensures both efficiency and high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

Technical Capacities:

- 7+ years of hands on experience in processing Dutch payroll in-house end-to-end, including handling payroll implementations and processing for complex cases.
- Expertise in Dutch payroll laws, tax regulations, and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Experience managing data migration, payroll parallels, and system configuration.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to guide clients through payroll-related processes.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.

Personal Abilities:

- Proven leadership and coaching skills, with experience training and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in payroll processing.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and handle complex inquiries.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach to delivering excellent service.

OVERVIEW

We Measure Success by Results, Not Hours Worked

No timesheets.

At GoGlobal, we give you the autonomy to make decisions that create real impact. We prioritize results over hours worked, focusing on quality of outcomes rather than tracking time.

As a privately owned company, we are free from the pressures of venture capital or private equity investors demanding exponential growth in unreasonable time frames.
Sometimes, things just take time to do well. In our business, delivering great results is a process - and we're committed to doing it right.

We are not for sale. We believe that financial success is a natural outcome of our work, not the primary goal. Unlike many investors who view money as a goal, our focus is on long-term growth and sustainable success.

We are a global team, built for those who want to go further. Here's what your career at GoGlobal looks like:

- A company small enough for your voice to be heard meaningfully, yet large enough to make a global impact
- Collaborating with a diverse, global and supportive team
- Built for the long-haul - no VC or PE pressure, just a focus on sustainable growth

WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT

We Make Growing Your Career Possible

- We operate with the benefits of a partnership without the complexities of a partnership. Our hybrid partnership-corporate model offers all employees the opportunity to become a partner, while maintaining a streamlined corporate structure so that decisions are made quickly.
- We do not offer equity plans. As we are not for sale and are not chasing an exit, "stock options" hold little value in our business model. Instead, we provide opportunities for outstanding employees to make partner and share in the profits. We believe it’s better to build lasting value than to chase a one-time payout.
- We prioritize organic and sustainable growth. Expanding operations quickly by way of mergers and acquisitions might seem appealing, but the reality is integrating diverse cultures can be challenging. We're proud of our own culture and prefer to grow it our way.
- We're global. We offer career opportunities across the world-whether it's new job roles or international locations.
- English is our official language, but for many, it's our second language. We embrace this and find it rewarding communicating with colleagues from all over the world.
- We are not a family. We operate more like a high-performing sports team where each individual's contribution is crucial to our collective success.
- We keep things simple and collaborative. Our structure makes it easy for teams to work together across borders so we can serve our clients with global needs more effectively. Unlike big, siloed companies, we work seamlessly to handle international deals without the headaches of territorial ownership.
- We believe in transparency and trust. Every month, we share our financials with the team so everyone knows where we stand and what's coming next. It's all about open communication, building trust and empowering every individual to be part of our journey. We don't tell you what to think - we provide the information you need to make your own informed decisions.
- We believe flexibility drives success. Our company is built on trust, and that’s why we embrace fully remote work, and hybrid options in some countries. Forget rigid office routines - it’s old school This flexibility fuels productivity, strengthens our workforce, and ensures we remain agile in a fast-changing world.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Global career: Work alongside the best talent from diverse backgrounds in a fast-expanding international business
- Results-driven culture: Excel in a result-driven environment that recognises and rewards high performance
- Remote/Hybrid Work: We embrace flexibility by offering fully remote work opportunities and hybrid options, depending on the country
- Unlimited vacation: Enjoy unlimited vacation days to rest and recharge at your own pace
- Wifi: Get your home wifi costs covered, ensuring you are always connected
- Annual training: Benefit from an annual training allowance to further your professional development

Protecting Yourself Against Recruiting Scams

Please be aware that there are people impersonating GoGlobal employees and creating fake job listings to steal personal information and/or money from candidates. We want to make sure that all interested applicants stay safe when applying for jobs at GoGlobal.

Follow these tips to safeguard your personal information:

Verify Job Listings:

- All legitimate GoGlobal job openings on external platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Indeed) are also listed on our official website: GoGlobal Careers. If you spot a GoGlobal position solely on a job board, without a corresponding listing on our site, it's likely a scam.

Check Email Domains:

- GoGlobal employees only use email addresses ending with "@goglobal.com". If you receive communication from someone claiming to be from GoGlobal, ensure their email domain matches our standard.

Validate Job Offers:

- Legitimate job offers at GoGlobal entail a rigorous interview process involving multiple rounds. Be wary of any offer received without undergoing this standard procedure.

Protect Personal Information:

- GoGlobal never solicits passport details, financial information (such as credit cards or bank accounts), or money from job candidates. If asked for such information prior to a thorough interview process, it's likely a scam.

Verification Assistance:

- If you've received a job offer from GoGlobal but are unsure of its legitimacy, contact us at hr@goglobal.com before divulging any personal information for onboarding purposes. We're here to assist you in verifying the authenticity of the offer.

Stay vigilant and prioritize your security throughout the job application process. If you encounter any suspicious activity, don't hesitate to reach out to us for clarification. Your safety is paramount to us at GoGlobal.
