About Our Client

Michael Page is a leading specialist recruiter in the field of finance and accounting.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Eastern Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of ERP systems by December 2024
  • Oversee financial reporting in Poland, including Interco and bank transfers
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards
  • Coordinate bed debts provision and supervise reconciliation processes
  • Develop and standardize accounting processes across Eastern Europe
  • Sustain IFRS supervision in Eastern Europe
  • Conduct second controls on reporting in Hungary and Romania

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance and Accounting or related field
  • Extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and leadership roles
  • Fluent English language skills (C1 level)

Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Finance and accounting expertise
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Cultural adaptability and willingness to travel within Europe
  • Experience in SSC or accounting services companies is a plus
