Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute category relevant supplier management and sourcing activities to maximize efficiency, cost savings, and reduce liability exposure.
  • Govern the sourcing agreements with suppliers, monitor contract performance metrics, and SLAs.
  • Analyze, manage, and resolve contract-related conflicts between the service provider and QIAGEN.
  • Provide escalation and arbitration roles when needed.
  • Execution of sourcing decisions for assigned categories on regional and local levels.
  • Performance responsibility for assigned categories, supply base, and contracts, including reporting and communication.
  • Active and adequate support of the global category leader.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, trade, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in indirect materials.
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
  • Good technical understanding of facility management and/or production/laboratory equipment.
  • SRM knowledge, SAP preferable.
