Job Description

You will be part of the Google Cloud Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy and Operations team, focusing on prioritizing, designing, and executing strategic programs for all GTM Sales teams that drive global priorities.

As a Global Program Manager Cloud Go-to-Market, you will manage programs spanning across Google Cloud Platform product and solution areas, industry and technical competency building, and standardized operational rhythm of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, define, run, and report on global cross-functional programs according to business needs.
  • Measure and report on key metrics to identify any need to change course, cancel, or scale program effectiveness globally.
  • Communicate status and identify obstacles and paths for resolution to stakeholders, including executive leaders, in a transparent, regular, professional, and timely manner.
  • Establish expectations and rationale on deliverables for stakeholders and contributors.
  • Provide program performance feedback to enable efficient cross-functional operations and iterate on the program effectively, rapidly, and at scale.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in program or project management in an enterprise, cloud, or technology environment.
  • Experience in Vendor Management, Program Management, or Project Management.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.
  • Experience delivering enterprise digital transformation projects to customers (e.g., cloud migrations or multi-cloud transformations across data warehousing and analytics, application development, or cybersecurity solutions).
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the following areas is highly valued:

  • Leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making and prioritization.
  • Business technology market as a program manager in SaaS, Cloud Computing, or emerging technologies.
  • Process improvement or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Cross-functional engineering, sales, and marketing teams in cloud computing or related fields.
  • Understanding of the Cloud marketplace and differentiators of various Cloud offerings.
  • Able to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud and IT technology space.
