About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at Clarksons Digital. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing two delivery teams, comprising developers, QA Engineers, and SDETs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Oversight: Manage and oversee two delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of software projects.
  • Team Building & Maintenance: Build and nurture high-performing teams that consistently deliver quality software and continually improve.
  • Support & Collaboration: Act as a liaison between engineering and product teams, aiding in process improvements and issue resolution for efficient delivery.
  • Multi-Functional Teams: Manage multi-functional teams working on various products, architectures, and solutions.
  • Location & Collaboration: Potential requirement to manage teams across multiple offices and countries, with the flexibility of being Poland-based and able to travel to London when necessary.
Requirements
  • Personal Attributes: Excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, experience in managing, mentoring, and coaching teams, ability to foster independence and self-sufficiency in your teams, and proficiency in planning and executing successful projects.
  • Core Skills: Strong technical background, preferably in .NET, proven experience in mentoring, managing, and supporting teams for successful deliveries, high attention to detail, pragmatic delivery approach that balances business and technical needs, and ability to manage and prioritize workload across multiple projects and teams.
