This role is located in a hybrid setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. As a Senior Vice President of Data Management and Quantitative Analysis, you will be part of the Capabilities & Data Design (C&DD) Team, which sits within Risk & Compliance Strategy Planning. The team's focus is to centralize Compliance data by building out an innovative platform that provides our leadership with actionable intelligence.

The C&DD Team collaborates closely with Financial Crimes Compliance, who is responsible for the firm's Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Sanctions Compliance Programs. We are seeking a candidate who is looking for a purpose-driven role and is passionate about making a difference in the financial industry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make an impact in the following ways:

  • Elicit and document requirements from Financial Crimes Compliance stakeholders accountable for processes related to Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering (BSA/AML) regulations, Know Your Client (KYC), Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, and Sanctions
  • Assemble large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
  • Establish partnerships with data owners to obtain data and understand data limitations, scope of data, attribute definitions, linkages to other datasets
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering to communicate requirements and test Engineering-produced solutions
  • Serve as a leader-coach to junior members of the team, including the potential for supervisory and leadership activities

To be successful in this role, we are seeking a candidate with the following required qualifications:

  • Advanced SQL data querying and profiling abilities within the financial services industry
  • Ability to analyze aggregated and row-level data to understand business transactions and underlying processes
  • Occasional ability to work evenings as senior stakeholders are mostly based out of New York City or Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Degree in math, engineering, statistics, computational finance, or economics preferred
  • Years of total, relevant work experience
