The Global Centre Finance is a leading provider of high-quality services to European countries, specializing in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Record-to-Report processes. Our team collaborates closely with the GSS Finance Regional Centres to develop the Global Shared Service Finance function for DNV.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst Assistant to support our Accounts Payable team in Gdynia, Poland. As an Accounts Payable Intern, you will be responsible for overseeing all account payable duties for a given geographical region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and submit invoices for approval, ensuring timely processing and payment.
  • Verify invoices with orders and receipts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
  • Investigate any discrepancies and take prompt action to resolve issues.
  • Support the weekly payment of vendors and follow up on rejected invoices.
  • Reconcile Accounts Payable statements and address any disputes or overdue invoices.
  • Monitor vendor credit and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the GL and AR teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
Requirements:
  • A strong academic background in Accountancy or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to analyze data accurately.
  • Fluency in Polish and English (at least B2 level). Familiarity with local regulations and taxation laws is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule of 30 hours per week.
