Job SummaryThis role involves supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, and ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the review and approval of hull structural drawings of ships, offshore units, and marine equipment, in compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during the design and construction phase, related to structural design.
- Support the elaboration of detailed marine engineering plan review, in compliance with applicable RINA rules, international conventions, and contractual requirements.
- Resolve issues related to conflicting design requirements and material standards.
- Provide direct day-to-day support and oversight of project elements, including site visits to take measurements.
- Prepare project deliverables, including technical reports, project performance documentations, and engineering drawings.
- Manage simple projects assigned, applying project management concepts and techniques.
- Assess minor structural problems for internal/external clients, determining solutions with minimal supervision.
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineer, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English language.
- Precise and concise written communication skills.
- Ability to follow established systems and procedures.
